Hi friends,
Our May wandering will take place Saturday, May 17th at 10am at Paradise Falls in Thousand Oaks.
Trailhead Address: 928 West Avenida De Los Arboles, Wildwood Regional Park, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360
There is ample parking and we’ll meet up at the trailhead at 9:50am. To make things easier and ease our environmental impact, carpool if at all possible!
Details for the trail are available at: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/paradise-falls-trail
This trail is in Thousand Oaks California and is part of traditional, sacred, and unceded land of the Chumash and other Indigenous peoples.
We wander in spaces with layered, complex histories that include abuse and exclusion. We try to be mindful and work towards understanding, renewed relationship & restitution. Learn more here.
The nature of our wanderings requires a level of ability that is not a reality for all. We walk as a community, conscious of varying ability and individual need. Regardless of your particular ability, who you are, who you love, your beliefs or understandings, we hope you will feel welcomed, affirmed, embraced, and heard if you wander with us.
Please send an RSVP to payton.hoegh@spiritualityinnature.org so we know who to expect!
Recommended gear: Comfortable shoes, Sun hat, Layers, Sun block, Water and Snacks
We’ll follow up soon with resources we’ve been digging into that we hope will guide and shape our conversation.
Hope to see you on the trail!
